Does your dog have selective hearing? Does it take ages before your dog eventually comes back to you - if at all?
If your answer is YES to the above, this workshop is for you!

Recall is one of the most important tools we need as dog owners. Having an effective recall can be a life saver for your dog in any environment. The Effective Recall workshop will give you a number of techniques to polish up your dog's recall and test its effectiveness against a number of different distractions such as food, toys, and when they're ready, other dogs! Teaching your dog recall is lots of fun and they will see it as a great new game they can play with you!

Topics Covered:
• Identifying what your dog loves so it can be used as a reward. This may not necessarily be food!
• Understanding arousal levels in our dogs and identifying when they are too aroused to respond.
• Learn techniques to reduce their arousal and therefore increase their ability to respond to the recall cue.
• Basic body language to help identify what they are feeling
• Hand touch
• Fun recall games
• Retrieve game to help get your dog back
• Chase game
